Perhaps I'm taken with a starving father and son navigating their way through a post apocalyptic landscape, enduring their own fears and emotions and inner demons, andnot to mention cannibals, but The Road (directed by John Hillcoat) was one of the most powerful and beautiful movies I saw all year.
